GWA Wing Foil Super Grand Slam is coming to Brazil!

Get ready for the Wing-Foil competition of the year: the SuperFoil Brasil 2020!

We are excited to announce the first-ever official GWA competition: the international GWA Wing-Foil Super Grand Slam. The event is to be held from November 10th – 14th, 2020 in Fortaleza, the state capital of Ceara in beautiful Brazil.

Fortaleza boasts 25 kilometers of beaches and the month of November marks the peak of the windy season for the region, making it the perfect location for our upcoming four-day competition.

The SuperFoil Brasil event will crown the champion in the Surf-Freestyle discipline! Surf-Freestyle is a discipline that allows for maximum freedom of expression. Scores are awarded for riding waves, carving and stomping tricks, therefore creativity and making the most of the conditions are key.

To showcase the incredible variety of what’s possible with a wing and hydrofoil board, there will also be a showcase-only competition in the surfing discipline, focusing on the flow of riding open ocean waves.

With the health, safety and wellbeing of everyone involved as our absolute priority, the event will be held under the strictest hygienic regulations to ensure WHO-conforming safety protocols.

Registration is open until November 3rd 2020.
Please email tom@globalwingsportsassociation.org to register for the event.
